Anyone see a N45SF in the wild??? I am hunting the elusive white version with the 900p panel. It's in other countries (ty google translator) but nada here in the USA.

Sure it's a fingerprint magnet (less so in white than black) but the specs look very decent for the semi-portable all rounder.

p.s. buying this as an alternative to the neverending confusion and delay that is the samsung series 7 chronos.

The North American market will have available whatever Asus North America (Fremont) decides to import from Taiwan and then ship to the distributors/resellers for sale.

Historically, they generally avoid importing any white models (except Eee series) as they are poor sellers in our market - the public doesn't have an appetite to purchase these in sufficient volume to justify importing at the quantity they have to, and Asus then has to take back unsold product or offer substantial rebate/fire sale pricing to get rid of them and take the financial loss (which looks bad in their regional reports to Asus Corporate).

Asus NA aren't going to import any product that they know won't sell in the marketplace, and there is some minimum number of units that are necessary to justify the import order.
