This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    N51f Fingerprint Reader

    I can't get the fingerprint reader to work. I tried downloading the driver from the ASUS site, but I get an error when I try to install it. I don't want to install TPM, and I don't seem to have the security manager that would also allow me to get it to work. Is there anything I can try?
