I just got my N550JV and i'm very happy with it, with one exception. I got the optical drive replaced with a regular hard drive (to go along with my 250 SSD). The optical drive component of the laptop chassis is sticking out, maybe 1 or 2 millimeters out and 2-3 millimeters down from where it should be. Obviously, there's a hard drive in there, so maybe things don't line up perfectly. But, is this to be expected? Here are some pics:

Just trying to figure out if this is normal, or if I should get it fixed up while I still can. Thanks!

No, it should be flush. Perhaps the caddy dimensions are slightly too big for the bay, or there could be something obstructing it.
