    N550JV wifi incredibly slow...

    Hello everyone. This is my first post here...Firstly I'd like to say hello and thank you for all the resourceful discussions. I've lurked for a couple days and found a lot of great helpful information. Now onto my question/problem


    I just purchased a Asus N550JV-Db72T a few days ago..I'm really enjoying it with the exception of a few things which I was aware of when I made the purchase...IE hard drive speed. My concern at this moment is the wifi speed. It is comparably slow to my other computers in the home. This includes 2 different models of macbook pros, another asus laptop (rog), and a desktop windows 8 blackbox. My wifi speed for the other 3 laptops ranges 65-70mps...These are all stock wireless cards. My N550JV only pulls at 24 mps..This is sitting relatively close to the router. Is this normal for this model? Does the wireless card just suck or is there a solution? I've tried drivers as well as playing with power settings but nothing helped.
