This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     N55S replacement battery: recommended suppliers?

    Guys,

    My venerable N55S need a new battery, it only lasts a few minutes without being plugged in.

    I'm in the UK and there's loads on Amazon here, but most of them have no reviews so I'm reluctant to go for them. Duracell Direct have one for £50 which is more expensive than the rest but is at least a recognisable brand.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for a supplier of this and how much should I expect to pay
