    Hello !

Does anyone have any idea why i cannot see my nVidia card in device manager ?
This happened after a fresh Windows reinstall, i installed the Intel drivers that came with the laptop and when i got to the nVidia ones, they could not detect anything. I quickly checked device manager and ... nothing.
I tried removing the Intel driver but nothing still. I doubt there is a hardware issue since nothing really happened in the 45 minutes I reinstalled the OS.

    I`m running Win 7 (OEM).

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Hello,

Yeah, i did, installer said it found no compatible hardware, i found a workaround for that, something about adding the hardware ID into the installer before using it.
Problem is, hardware ID you can only get from device manager, and device manager does not see the card X( .

Sounds like the Nvidia GPU is defective thus missing from the device manager.
Did you make sure if there was any unknown device anywhere in the device manager?
