I would like to create a bootable recovery drive on a USB stick for my Asus N56VZ-RH71.
Looking at Drive Management shows a recovery partition size of 20.0 GB but I have read where others have used a 16 GB USB stick to create the recovery drive. So, will a 16 GB drive suffice or will I really need a 32 GB?![]()
Also, any other tips with recovery drive creation and use would be greatly appreciated!

I know when we tested creating a recovery drive on the Asus UX models, we were able to create a recovery drive using a 16 GB flash drive. I don't think you will need anything over 16 GB, just going off my experience with the ultrabooks recovery drive.

I tested the recovery drive by restarting the computer with the USB drive present while holding down F2 which brought up the BIOS and then I went to the Security tab and highlighted the recognized USB E: drive and hit enter. After a small wait the drive did in fact boot up and all was good!
