I have a N56VZ Notebook. I have upgraded this PC with Windows 8.1. But there are some problems. The BIOS does not allow you to set the secure boot. The graphical desktop environment has worsened. In addition, the PC does not suspend if the network is connected to the internet. I installed the drivers for the network card on the Asus support. Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

Try to update to the latest Intel/nVidia graphics drivers and they should resolve the issues.
On other hand, check DPI scaling in Windows 8.1, please also refer to below reported from others.

Do you have ClearType enabled? Open up the start menu then type Cleartype and it should show as the only option, start it and make sure the box is checked.
