For what I could find the only differences between these two models are:

    N56VZ-S4278H
    - 8GB RAM
    - GT 650M, DDR3 4GB

    N56VZ-S4277H
    - 16GB RAM
    - GT 650M, DDR3 2GB

Anyone knows if there are more differences between these two models of the N56VZ?

The extra 8GB of RAM are great, but the extra 2 GB of GDDR on the GT650M are worth it?
If there is not a great difference between the GT650M with 2 or 4GB then I'll go with the 16GB RAM.

    Thanks.

What's the price difference? 4GB of video memory for a mobile video card sounds a little...over the top and I doubt you'll ever notice the difference between 2GB and 4GB of VRAM considering you'll be more limited by the core / memory performance than memory capacity. I'd go with the 16GB of RAM personally, especially since I'd expect it to be cheaper.

The one with 4GB GDDR on the GT650M is 85€ cheaper than the model with 16GB RAM.

For that price difference I can get the extra 8GB of RAM. I just don't know if the N56VZ-S4278H supports the 16GB of RAM.

That's interesting actually. I know that some users have had difficulty getting 16GB of RAM to work in 8GB systems, so it may still be safer to go that way all other things equal. As someone who works at a major technology company who makes consumer video cards, I can guarantee you will see near zero gains from the 4GB of VRAM.

    Ok, thanks TheLastOne :)

Although, if the N56VZ-S4277H supports the 16GB of RAM, it would be strange if the N56VZ-S4278H doesn't.
How different would be the motherboard\BIOS?
