    N61JQ HELP! (bios password)

    I just purchased a N61JQ-x1 from eBay, laptop seems to be in great shape, but it has BIOS Password(i purchased it knowing this).
    Any help? What else can I do?

    I already called CS, but they said the proof of purchase will take 2-3 days of verification.

    You will need to contact Asus and send it in for service to remove the password
    Hopefully the cost to you for the service center to remove the bios password will not be too costly over the original $550 that you paid for the laptop

    Btw I edited your post a bit to conform with forum rules as we do not discuss cracks etc on this forum
