Random means you don't touch it and it wakes up?

You wouldn't happen to have an external mouse hooked up? Sometimes just moving an external mouse will wake the computer (so a little shake say from walking by would wake it up). Do you have any external devices or does it happen with just the power adapter plugged in?

    yeah, never touch.
external mouse is hooked but should not be a factor if it's in normal status i think. power adapter is not changed at that time.this machine has a GPU temperature 6-7C higher than the other N61 and max CPU temp is 90C while the other N61 max 86C. looks asus quality control is not stable....

The external mouse could be a factor. I would try disconnecting it and putting the machine to sleep and see if that changes anything. I don't know how have the wake from sleep settings setup but I believe simply moving the mouse should wake it.

As far as your temps, that may vary due to room temperature differences or not enough thermal paste applied. When I ordered mine I paid for the IC thermal paste to be applied just so I wouldn't run into that issue.

i have quite a number of laptops in my system, none could be waken from sleep by simply a mouse move. for temps, they are in same place. so the difference might be from thermal paste. i bought them from NCIX which has no other option of paste but with price match i got these A1 at X1 price, $100 cheaper :D

That's cool. Your wake from sleep issue is definitely unusual. I put mine to sleep all the time and I haven't had it wake up. It might be a driver issue. If upgrading all the system drivers don't work you might want to try using the restore disks.
