Well, I've been in the market for a new laptop for light gaming and watching movies... Resolution was the only thing keeping me away from the N61JQ.

NCIX and some other vendors in Canada have started listing this laptop. The title description leads me to believe it is 1080P instead of 720. Though the specs listed in the body of the page linked states 720 it is not uncommon for NCIX to copy and paste the wrong thing.

What I'm wondering is what this product actually is... Is it actually 1080P, is it modified by a third party or did ASUS release a 1080p model? Kind of at a loss for it right now :D.

I have been unable to pull the trigger on the msi 640 thus far... for various reasons... and am interested in this fella if it turns out to be true.

Cheers to anyone with info on it :D

Found this model elsewhere on the net, they all seem to claim 1080p resolution in the title but none have real info in the body... Still can't figure out if this is a third party mod of the n61 or an actual asus product. No mention on the Canadian ASUS site though no reason it couldn't be from another market.
