    N61JQ-X1 cost 1000, and have core i7 720QM and ati 5730!!

    Why do they have to put in such a low resolution monitor in that otherwise very nice notebook? I'll never understand. lol

    I also saw they have the G51J-3D for a whopping $1750.

    I know! If they had the exact same laptop except with a higher resolution screen, I'd probably buy it. Even though it would mean a higher price.

    This is one awesome and affordable laptop.
    A better video card and sound than in Lenovo Y550P with i7 720QM.
    I am glad I have waited out to see this coming out and I will definitely buy it.

    Looks like one very high quality laptop. I would assume the heat output will be lower on the new 5730 card over 4650/4670.
    I think that the battery life is quite average (3-4 hours).

    I would love to see a review and some benchmarking on it.

    check this, its a similar laptop, biggest difference would be i5 cpu.
    battery lasts around 2 hours on that laptop so i would be surprised if n61jq could stay on longer (and it has i7-720)...

    NO FIREWIRE, I was gonna get this, but it's just a toy with out it. Express card? Are they just as fast as the real thing? ........ :mad:

    Yes this is a Great Laptop
    but the resolution is so low :(

    Why would they do that ?

    & wish it had 5870 card in it :)
