This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone sprung for the 17.3 Matte screen? Xotic has it as an option for $185? I rather wanted to upgrade the CPU, but given the insane $$$ they charge for a simple CPU upgrade from the i7 2630 to the i7 2720...it might make more sense to just upgrade the screen.

    If anyone has done so, I would be very keen to find what you get for the $185:
