 Hi, just got an N73Jq yesterday. Want to upgrade wireless adapter, but the bottom access plate seems locked or sealed. There are no visible screw-heads to loosen ANYWHERE on the bottom of the laptop.

There is an access plate with a little place for a screwdriver or long fingernail, but even with two screwdrivers prying up at different points, this plate is LOCKED in. The symbols for RAM and HDD are right there too.

I removed the little rubber feet on the plate. Nope, no hidden screws under them.

    What am I missing?

If anybody can advise me how to open this to get to the wireless, RAM, and HDD's, I'd be very grateful.

    I will contact Asus...

    Any disassembly manuals out yet?

    Thanks!

I went into details about the call to Asus and uploaded a picture over in the N73Jq Owners' Lounge thread.

I posted the request for help here to a more general group of members. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
