Right, so I've been a happy user until recently.
But just how it usually goes, I got a virus. No a-v finds it. No rootkits found, either.

... just what the heck, let's reinstall, I thought ...
Asus Pre-load master doesn't work, though.

    The errors are:
    "[diskpart /s X:\tools\FormatScript6a65.txt] meet error!!!"
    And,
    "Windows cannot find C:\Tools\cleanFRPROM\x64\vcsCleanSensorFlashEng.exe"

So I made the hidden partition visible, dragged the tools folder over to C drive. The error now is, "cannot find recovery drive."
(I removed disk's drive letter before going into reboot. But does it make it hidden again?)

The virus is a rare bi**h, it plays random sounds at nights! ... It completely scared the heck out of me yesterday... and it played Bieber... wth...

    Any input, anyone? Thanks!

(oh, and only recovery tips, please. I want to reinstall anyway.)

Ah looks like nobody knows. I'm perplexed myself.
In that case, can somebody link me to asus laptop support forums? Because I can't find them...
