Hi guys, I just finished installing windows XP on my new ASUS N80V (followed this guide).. everything works for the most part, just have two issues and I was hoping I could get some help.
1. I can't seem to install the wifi driver for the life of me. I went to Intel's page and downloaded the 5100 driver (12.2.0.0_x32) after the one suggested in the guide didn't work, but my system just won't accept either. I tried using "update driver" in device manager but it doesn't see the driver.. not sure what else I can try.
2. Part of my keyboard is mapped incorrectly. The characters that should appear only when Fn is pressed, appear when it isn't.. so basically it's backwards from what it should be (e.g. pressing 'j' gives '1', while Fn+j gives 'j').
Any and all help is appreciated! Also, if anyone has any questions on getting XP to work on this laptop then I can answer them.

Ok, looks like I got a bit ahead of myself and took the Gentech guide a bit too literally.. for anyone else that runs into this, the N80v uses the Atheros AR928x chipset, not any of the Intel ones.
As for my second question, turns out you just have to press Fn+Numlock to get it back to normal (Doh!).. I'm retarded -
