Do you own an Asus N81Vp and some sort of measuring device?

Please help me out by measuring the following:

    - exact height + width of the screen, excluding hinges
    - height of screen WITH hinges
    - the viewing area dimensions (width + length) - only the LCD screen, itself
    - "depth" of the screen at its thickest and thinnest
    - width of hinges and distance between them

I will be very thankful! :) In return, I can document my further research and success/failure (the latter being more likely) with replacing the N81Vp screen by the 1440x900 screen from the F8Va.

That would definitely be very cool if it does.

Do you know if the N80 bezel and back cover would fit on the N81 (same hinge location/size and whatnot)?

The chassi still the same it's just the LCD bezel size is different so it will fit, but you still need the N80 LCD back cover.

Thanks for the info, Ken! It looks like getting the 1440x900 screen would be a possibility.

Now, is there any way to find out if the 1600x900 screen that spam123 linked would work, instead? :)
