NCIX and Asus G1S

Hey everybody! I really didnt know where to post this and here is probably not the right place so feel free to move my post if that's the case, I really didnt know.

Well it is Asus G1S related but my main question is about NCIX.com. As some of you know maybe if you saw me post around lately haha I am waiting for my Asus G1S from NCIX (BC, CA) to be shipped to me (Québec, CA). The thing is I payed by certified cheque (I know, bad mistake its sooo long!) and they had to hold my cheque for 10 business days for the cheque to clear with the bank.

Yesterday I was messaged by an NCIX sales rep. and he told me "...we have to wait 10 business days from that time, taking us to Sept. 19th, when we will be able to release the order."

The problem I have is that I dont know what "when we will be able to release the order" really means? So I need you guys to tell me, as its my first web order ever and im a noob in this type of thing haha:

Does this mean they will only do the payment processing or will they also orser process and ship my order on Sept. 19 (tomorrow, wednesday)?

Please be honest! hahaha I need the facts so if you dont think it'll be ship the same day, tell me the truth I wont get impatient haha and please tell me, if you had any experience with NCIX before, how much time after payment processing will they take to ship my order if its not the same day? Thanks a lot guys! (and im sorry again for probably being in the wrong section... )

 

Call them. Ask them. Human contact has been proven to be safe in most instances.

 

I did things with DirectCanada, wich is owned by NCIX, and they usually do same day shipping if the item is in the shipping wharehouse

 

UPDATE: My order has been payment processed and order processed today!!!

The remaining steps are Product Availability (the laptop is in stock so its all right) Credit Card Verification (I didnt use one so theres no verification to do) and Shipping (YAYYY!)

When your order has been processed, do you guys know about how much time after they ship the order?

 

Nobody knows? well thank you guys anyway im so excited right now LOL after a MONTH!!!! Finally

 

If they have it in stock, the other steps often take a day at most, usually much less. I also got my Asus G1 from NCIX, and it was a good experience. Still loving the G1.

 

UPDATE 2:

I have received my tracking number from Purolator Air - MY ORDER WAS SHIPPED!

Now when I go to the tracking number page it says PLEASE CALL 1 888 SHIP-123 OR 1-888-744-7123 FOR INFORMATION ON THIS SHIPMENT.

Will I really have to call to get info or will there be some info on this page later (because it was just shipped last hour)?

Also do you guys think Ill receive it tomorrow and when should I stay home to receive it? Thanks!!

Congrats! And yea NCIX is a great place to buy stuff from, not only do you save taxes, the price is often very low. Their CS is decent, but one really can't ask for more can they?

Not at all, all you do is sign the device thingy-ma-jig that the delivery guy(or girl) hands you, sign on the touchscreen and there you have it.

As for tracking at Purolator, normally you get your package before the tracking number even goes live

Yup probably tomorrow.

Vancouver -> Quebec is next day with Air and 4 days with Ground, 2 days with Canada Xpresspost

Oh and, if they still doesnt hav e it on the page, it's because it hasn't been scanned yet. You should get it arround 11AM tomorrow if you took Air. But if you're not here, you'll have to wait until 7:15PM lol. And there is alot of people at their wharehouse, at least in Quebec City

 

Yes, I took express shipping which is Purolator Air, so probably tomorow as you said!

But I dont understand that part:

If you are not there when they knock on your door, they will let a paper there and you must go get it yourself at the nearest wharehouse

 

I thought they would give the package to the nearest post office, not wharehouse? Because I dont leave near a NCIX wharehous or anything LOL

 

Anyways, Ill make sure someone is here tomorrow from 11AM to 2PM when I arrive haha

PostOffices are for Post Canada....

And it's 11AM wherever you are I guess, it will come by plane to Montreal/Quebec and then by truck to you (in fact, it's probably getting into the plane right now, if it shipped today)

 

Well yeah, it was shipped today I can be sure cause I received the tracking number from purolator.

Then Ill be waiting tomorrow, it shouldnt take more than a day for the truck to get here hahahaa Yay
