    NTFS cluster size conversion

    I was wondering guys which cluster size would be best to convert FAT 32 to NTFS...4 or 64 ? :)

    4 or 64... what? kilobytes? I don't even know if NTFS uses clusters as large as 64 KB (might be...)

    4 KB I think is the default size, and I find no compelling reason for which it should be changed. Also, take care about converting the system partition, use the instruction here: http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.php

    Well in partition magic, when you choose to convert into NTFS, you can make your choice between different cluster sizes, it goes from 512 byte to 64 KB.

    Use the link E.B.E. provided. That is what I used when I did my conversion. 4k is what is recommended.
