Hi to everyone, i just got the Asus G50VT-A1 and so far so good. I need your inputs on the video drivers, i've been to laptopvideo2go.com and i can't grasp which driver is best suited for the Nvidia 9800 GS.
That's why my post is to get your feedback on which one you guys recommend.
All comments are welcomed. Thank you in advance!

Dox Optimized 182.46

This produces the smoothest and best overall results.
Some other drivers produce slightly better highs and slightly better benchmark scores, but these are the most stable and produce the best minimum frame rates for me. -
Same here with 9700mGT.
You can find a comparative of drivers on my forums : http://play-arena.go-forum.net/asus-g50v-f12/comparatif-drivers-nvidia-t75.htm
It's in french, but should be easily understandable. -
ive found 182.46 to drop a lot lower than drivers like 182.08 in CoD4, especially lighting-intense scenes
-
182.08 being really really unstable with 9700mGT...
You're talking about those Quaddro drivers on LV2Go, are you ? -
I would go to the Nvidia site and download their latest drivers.
-
Thanks guys, just cleaned installed Dox Optimized 182.46 as recommended and so far so good.
-
Yep, Dox are the best. Just make sure to use driver sweeper when installing, as it makes an enormous difference.
-
A noobie question, when I uninstall the original drivers, do I have to uninstall all of them or just the display drivers?
-
i would recommend dox 185.20 or dox 182.05
-
I say dox 185.85
So far it is the best for me in performance out of all the dox drivers and temps remain pretty descent
