That's because the game is playing in regular ratio, but your notebook is widescreen..... so the notebook will pull it wider.... You may be able to change the game to widescreen.... or maybe even go in the intel graphics settings and change something (but I don't think so).

well in the game, there are only 3 resolution settings..the 640 one, 800 one, and 1024.

Right... I understand that.. it's one reason widescreens are not great for everything and most gamers still prefer regular ratio... there are some settings for the ATI cards that'll fix that, but I don't know if you can on the models with the integrated intel solution.. I'll have to look around.

You can go to Graphics properties, go to display settings, choose"Maintain aspect ratio" under Display expansion. You should able to play the game in regular ratio rather than widescreen.

There you go.... I had to boot up my W5 to make sure they had the same settings under intel's properties..

    right click on desktop,

Gfx options >> Panel Fit >> Maintain Aspect Ratio

and just a note: I'm playing nba on High Player settings and low everything else on the highest resolution and its NOT laggy or blurry or slow. its actually quite good. i'm impressed!
