Hi I have a Asus a96j and its not working with any power adapters. The problem I believe has to do with the plug in the system because I know its not the adapter and it can still run off the battery. Please help be find a solution or part. I cant use my warrenty through mwave and intel says I need to so I not in a good place. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Were you using any after market power adapters?

Regardless, most power connectors on notebooks are physically on the motherboard. You will probably end up having to send it in to Asus.

It's S96J, Asus does not handle warranty for it, Intel covers the warranty for 2 year.

Is it under 30 days? if it is then Intel will ask you to send it back to your vendor.

No reason why Intel should decline to repair you S96J. Talk to them again, and this time be more insistent...in fact read them the terms of the 1 yr. warranty from your manual.
