Seem like this device just disappear from my notebook...Please help me...What I suppose to do? and How can I check it whether it's broken or not :(

I know this isn't the first thing people think about... and they usually default to sending it in for someone else to worry about...... but consider that fact that a driver most likely got corrupted and just try to reinstall it. That driver is fairly simple, but something could have screwed it up.

Tessie, can't really offer much help without more information, but I'm guessing it really is just a driver mess up.

Try to retrace your steps and think about what you recently installed or changed on your system and try reinstalling drivers for your camera and others too, because it might be a conflict.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Thks Mike...Honestly i try to uninstall all the program that I install in this week but it still doesnt work. The thing is I rally dont know that since when it was missing...I know it's sound silly but I'm not use it quite often. But now..since I know that it's missing, it make me feel like my Notebook become disable now and make me feel bad...That's all

By the way, if u think that it just a driver mess up...I might try to reformat my notebook (Wish it to be the last possible) but I'm afraid that the camera is broken

just reinstall the BisonCam drivers, they are on the drivers CD that came with your notebook. no need to format... well providing something hasnt really really done wrong...

Your other option is to try a system restore...if you have it enabled that is. This way you can take you lappie back to a date when you know the camera worked. Otherwise I would do a fresh install of xp....with the restore disks this is a fairly quick and painless process.
If that doesnt work then you can be pretty sure the camera is faulty
