    Hi,

can anyone recommend a good thermal pad brand that I can use to replace the stock pad?

The original pad was torn when I lifted the heatpipe to install a new CPU, half was stuck to the bottom of the nb heatsink, half to the nb itself.

I used isopropyl 99% and q-tips to clean the pad off both parts and replaced it with MX-3, using the force of the heatsink to spread it out.

However my THRM temps have jumped from 74 to 85 in hardware monitor running orthos!

I could use any help or advice I can get, i'm not powering on the notebook until I can get THRM temps below 80.

On that note, what is the maximum temprature for the NB/THRM ?

    Thanks in advanced.
