    Hello guys.
I installed Windows XP last week and until now I had no problem with it except a small lag accessing my HD (not this issue I want to talk about).

    Here it goes my problem.

This afternoon (currently my GMT time is 1:34 AM so people overseas is different) I arrived home at 21PM from work and went do some websurfing and listen some music. I let my computer on the all day. When I went to dinner I turned it off just to let it "rest" for some time, because I take a little nap after dinner.

The thing is, when I came back to turn it on, I got to the "Windows is starting up" and it didn't move any further.

I pressed the power button to shut it down and turned on again, but this time I looked with attention to the several boot screen messages, and I didn't noticed that the ASUS Fingerprint Sensor didn't ran as it should be, neither the other processes that usually appear there in that boot screen after Intel AMT (that "Press CTRL+P to enter" message) .

As login credentials I had Fingerprint AND Password, so I cannot enter Windows ( and don't misunderstand, I can't even get to the User login in windows).

The Safety mode isn't working also.

Please help me I'm about to sledgehammer that crap!!!!

Well... the obvious first... when you press F8 to enter Safe Mode, did you try the other options? Last Known Good Configuration would be a nice one to try.

Another option is the Repair Console where you could... well, I don;'t know what you could do.

    Thanks E.B.E. .

I tried everything I could think of during the night but with no effect..

Eventually, I installed Vista Biz again via Recovery Disc :\
