    Hi,

I'm considering purchasing this notebook solely for streaming 1080p video to a 1080p HDTV and casual gaming. My concern is the laptop isn't 1080p natively. Will this effect how it displays on my TV? I will be primarily using the TV as the display device and was wondering if once I connect it to the TV, can you change the resolution to 1920x1200 to achieve 1080p viewing?

For reference, the TV in question is a Mitsubishi WD-52631 (52" DLP) and the connection would be through DVI.

    Thanks!

You shouldn't have problems with your TV at 1080p resolution when the laptop display is disabled.
