Hi everyone this is my first post here on Notebookreview.com, i've been reading alot of reviews and threads here for a couple of days now and decided to join. Well here is my question should i wait for the Asus w3j or should i get the w3v now? Also if i do end up waiting for the w3j how long will i be waiting?

As for the W3j, somewhere between early April to mid April, which is what the 'Estimated Time of Arrival' is. Though ETA's are never right, it could be before, or even later on.

If you don't need a laptop within 3 weeks, then wait :)

    And welcome, of course!

W3J will walk all over the W3V, I would wait.

^ As stated - if you can wait, you might as well. Performance vs. price is much better in the W3J due to the graphics card and Core Duo.

On the other hand, if you don't need all of that performance you can pick up the W3V for a bit cheaper thanks to rebate and get it right now.

Beyond just saying to wait, it seems at this point to make sense. For about $100 you are getting a newer computer, with faster everything and a way better processor. It seems to make sense because it will last a lot longer, certainly worth more than the $100 difference you are paying.

Definitely. If patience is a virtue that you possess even in the smallest quantity... WAIT FOR THE W3J! :) It'll superior in every way.

haha yeah well, it'd put a bit of strain on the eye using high resolution on such a small screen but it'd also be nice to have the option. but then again i'm not aware of any high res glossy screens out there.
