    Hello everyone,
For some reason I decided I needed to update the BIOS on my F3TC-AP011C using WinFlash. Something went horribly wrong half way through and now my laptop won't switch on. There's no activity at all; no noise, no LED's, no beeps, nothing!

I was wondering if there's a sequence/combiantion to get it to switch back on or am I clutching at straws? I just need to know if it's still alive. What shall I do? Help!

Remove the battery, unplug the laptop then hold the power button for about 20 seconds. Probably clutching at a straw but the only thing I can think of. Maybe after trying this you can at least get some activity.

Welcome to the forum -- sorry it isn't under better circumstances.

Problems like this during a BIOS update usually mean an irrecoverable, corrupted BIOS crash that requires the BIOS to be reset by Asus.

Try a PM to Ken at GenTechPC to see if he has any thoughts (sometimes he comes up with something) -- but you're probably going to need to call Asus and send your F3 in for BIOS reset.
