    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I was ripping a CD the other day, and I went to rip another CD and the DVD drive wouldn't read it. Won't read any other music CDs or my Hellgate London DVD. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall my DVD drive from the device manager but that doesn't seem to work.

    Thanks Alot

    Possibly firmware problem?

Try different brand of CD & DVD. If it doesn't read any brand then you need either to do a firmware upgrade (if possible at all) and try again, or RMA the drive.

Also try disabling UAC if you're with Windows Vista, sometimes that creates issues with the ODD.
