Ok, I've been looking around on the forums and theres lots of valuable data on this particular lappy, but there are a few things that haven't been touched on yet that I need to know before taking the 2500 dollar plunge into this thing.

    1) How many slots does it have for memory, it lists 6 gigs of ram, is that over 3 slots, and if so, is there a free 4th? Or is it simply a 4 gig stick and a 2 gig stick? Also, whats the maximum ram/slot?

    2) I'm seeing manufactures able to customize these machines as-per customer orders, this is rather interesting for somebody like me, as I prefer to build my own machine if at all possible. On that note, can you order these machines as a barebones notebook anywhere ( no CPU, RAM, or Harddrives)

    3) Benchmarks. The G50 uses the same video card on a MUCH smaller resolution screen, which, from my experience, means that the G50 would actually be faster than the G71 in most games. Is the G71 a better gaming rig than the G50, or is the G50 indeed faster?

    4) Sound Quality. This may sound silly, but for somebody coming from a desktop with a Creative X-Fi its a valid question. How is the sound quality of BOTH the integrated speakers and onto a pair of decent headphones? ( Sennheiser HD595s to be exact).

I'm particularly interested in the sound quality as well - I bought a first line W3j when it came out about 2 years ago and the sound has been flukey (weak given the size of the laptop/speakers, but when watching movies it's bared audible so I need to use headphones).

As Qaz stated, it lists 2GB x3 but not sure if there's another slot (or if any of that is Turbo Boost Intel memory but I doubt it).
