    Need some help on G1S

    I removed some case of my g1s and i found out something.
    The case which cover rams has many holes but there has a black card to black air to goes in.

    do u guys know wat does the black card does to the computer?
    im thinking of remove the black card and let more airs to go in.

    I don't think it actually blocks any vents, the RAM/WiFi slot doesn't usually have many vents as, though they do emit heat, they don't have a fan to ventilate air.

    o... i got a notebook cooler
    if i remove the black card, there has more holes and the cooler can helps more right?

    That depends whether your cooler actually cover that area though...

    Assuming that it does, yes the cooler should help more, but then again you are blowing more dust to the inside...

    Yes but you are also blowing dust and particles there. As well, potentially you could send static there as well, but that's pretty rare.

    The black card is a piece of plastic Asus puts in to keep the electronics from contacting anything and shorting out. They commonly put it over the HDD, but reports from other users here indicate that they can be found elsewhere underneath.

    You probably don't want the RAM directly exposed to the outside elements, so I'd keep the card in place.
