    Need some help regarding new Asus'

    Hey all!
    I ordered a new Asus G51VX-X3A last week (the 26th [boxing day in Canada]) and it has been sitting in Richmond, BC for the past week (literally, I've been watching the UPS tracking every day). I've decided I should get my money back, I paid the extra for expedited shipping with the hopes that it'd be here before I went back to school; but no dice.

    So, with all that being said, what do you guys know about the new Asus line? I've seen things about the x77 and the G51Jx - any idea when those would be coming out in Canada?

    What are you going to be using the computer for mainly and also whats your budget USD.

    I'll definitely be doing a lot of gaming (well, a lot compared to now) with some last-gen games and hopefully be good and ready for current/next-gen games as well.

    I'll also be doing lots of work with CPU intensive programs such as Finale 2010 with Garritan Instruments (used for music composition). That's why I went with the X3A, because of its C2D, Finale (should) work slightly more efficiently seeing as it doesn't use all 4 cores yet.

    I'll also be doing lots of school related stuff, lots of multitasking while using quite a bit of CPU guts all at once haha.

    That's awesome and all, but I think I'd like to order whatever I end up getting within Canada this time so I can avoid the hassle of paying duties and such. Hopefully that one will be coming to NCIX! If it does, I'll most certainly order it.

    Does anyone know for sure if they will be coming to NCIX/other Canadian retailers other than Newegg?
