This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I bought a ASUS notebook in Taiwan. For the warranty to be valid, do I need to register the computer? If so, does it matter if I use my information (address, etc) from Taiwan or in the states?

    Did you purchase the notebook recently? If so, Please give this link a try. I would recommend you register your Asus product online just in case something happens, the info you include will be used as your primary contact info, Asus tend to reach their customers via email.
