    Needed ASUS programs?

    Hey guys,

    I was wondering if I need these programs for startup or if I can disable them. I also want to know if I can delete them at all because I have no clue what the following programs do:

    DMedia from AsusTEK
    ASScrPro
    ASScrProLog.exe
    ATKOSD2
    Synaptics Pointing Device
    ccAPP
    IS Cfgwiz
    SM56 Helper from Motorola
    Cognizance from Cognzance Corp

    Also should I remove the startup programs from Windows Defender Startup programs or MSconfig?

    AFAIK; others I am clueless (G2k-a1 here)
    NO ATKOSD2
    NO Synaptics Pointing Device Unless you do not use your touch pad!
    NO SM56 Helper from Motorola if you use your modem connection for anything

    No I need them or No I don't need them and uninstall them?

    Or just remove from startup?
