Sometimes when I turn the laptop on, I immediately get the the LEDS on the top left corner blinking. The monitor display's nothing at all. The 3 LEDs keep blinking constantly.

What do you do when this happens? Are you forced to turn it off and turn it back on? Are you able to boot into Windows at all?

If you can boot, try going to the Asus Support site (support.asus.com) and get all the latest updates beginning with the latest BIOS.

did you get it modified or just the base?
have you contacted your dealer. ask them to help the individual components of your laptop. mainly the ram. if no luck contact asus.
are you by any chance going into stanby or hibernate then trying to recover or does this happen after shutdown?

I would add that if you don't feel comfortable or knowledgeable enough to mess with the RAM I would take Eddie's other advice and contact ASUS. You can, especially in winter when humidity is down and static electricity is more prevalent, short out your RAM of even the moboard if you don't take the proper precautions.

    um

the light blinking means you are almost out of battery juice.

you have to plug it in.

If the battery is not charging, your problem is probably the ac adapter. it has a light on it that goes on when its working.

when the battery is charging the orange light is on. do you see the orange light on when you plug it in?

when the battery is in stand by mode the green light flashes.

When the battery is almost depleted the green and orange light flash.

If just the green light is flashing i think you are putting it into standby

if it were in standby and then it came back because you pressed the button.... well thats all it could be actually.

Something is making the machine go into standby. It could be a problem with the computer thinking you closed the lid. go to power options advanced. Change all of those options to do nothing.

you also could have it set to go into standby at a certain battery life. change all the settings to do nothing dont go into standby

i think you've got it wrong
the three LED's that are blinking are the HDD Read, Caps lock and entertainment centre ones
