    New ASUS ux31 white blemish on screen

    Hello everyone,

    I just received my new ASUS ux31 and everything seems fine apart from one white spot on the screen, like the brightness of the LCD panel at this specific spot was bugged and always too high compared with the area around it. Has anyone else experienced this? Shoud I send it back to the manufacturer? It is a bit upsetting...

    I have taken a picture of it, hope it shows what it looks like.

    Yes it's probably an inconsistency in the diffuser or filter of your screen. It is common as LCDs age but not for a new machine.
