Microsoft Store has the new model with Skylake chip, new 7265 AC wifi, QHD and touchscreen for $799 before the student discount of 10%.

It seems to be an in-store item only.

Decent deal, but save yourself $200 and go for the M-5Y10 and save battery life and Windows scaling headaches by going with the 1080p screen. Both are 14nm and performance and battery life difference will be negligible. I have the M-5Y10 1080p version that I use as a daily driver and it is fantastic. Only wish it came with backlit keyboard, my only gripe.

The skylake chip will likely deal with bursty quick tasks slightly better but I think the 1080p screen option is the better choice too.
