Was jus checking the Asus C90s downloads section for a way to control fan speed, when i realised they released an update for the Bios about a month back. Anyone tried it out? The changelog says "increased CPU compatibility"

1002 has been up for a while, if you search you can find Ken's bootable CD img. No major changes from the last BIOS.
No idea what the "increased CPU compatibility" are? -

I don't think it fix anything, they probably just updated it so it can be use newer processors such as E7xxx CPUs. -
K thanks for the reply. Currently have 801 bios, when i update it to the 1002 bios, will it incorporate bios 902 as well?

It will not "incorporate" the BIOS 902 (the BIOS is just a simple 512KB binary file), but, any fixes or upgrades that were implemented on 902 will likely be retained in the 1002 BIOS, as well.
