    I haven't seen Express Card listed anywhere with the VX2.

    1x VGA port
    3x USB 2.0 A ports
    2 Audio jack: headphone-out/Mic-in
    1x Lan RJ-45
    1X Phone RJ-11
    1x 1394
    1x IrDA
    1x Docking Port
    1x Micro-Dvi
    1x S-Video/Composite Video

    Looks like no digital audio output either...

    I'm pretty sure there is S/PDIF, almost all ASUS models come with it nowadays.

    As for the ExpressSlot card, I'm also sure there is, would make no sense if there wasn't.

    Yes - it's based on the V1jp... which has a 54mm express card.
