I am running FFXI on this new laptop and it should not be getting lag. It is fine when I am in a place with not as many people but gets down to a constant 4 fps in a place with more people like in Whitegate. I have 3 GB RAM and a Nvidia Geforce 9500M GS. If I need drivers can anyone give me a link for the ones that would help? Thank you.

I bet your running vista right? try this site http://tiredblogger.wordpress.com/2008/01/29/new-beta-nvidia-forceware-for-final-fantasy-xi/

The drivers they say to use are for desktops, so go to laptopvideo2go.com and download the laptop version of the driver recommended. You should know though that windows xp fixes the lag problem. Thats what I did on my laptop to just avoid any hassle with drivers.

They don't have any drivers for my current card so I am unsure of what to do. And I dont feel like downgrading to xp.
