    Wow.. great post,
I tried finding some info on the upcoming models about 12hr ago, but didn't get far, some very interesting news. Will be very interested to see what the M6A's gpu is. ASUS are on the list from ATI as being one of the first to release a notebook with the new X700 gpu, which will have the new hyper- memory feature (ie ability to share system memory when needed, as well as having its own). I'm hoping that this is what the M6A will have. As for the others they look very nice, also looks like the M5 series will be replaced with the W5. Not a bad upgrade.

I hope Asus won't disappoint us with addition of X700, X600 into their current lines of laptop.

It makes sense to introduce X700, X600 to Sonoma platform since the PCI-x bus is supported.

Acer have launched a serise of new Sonoma notebooks with X700 and X600 GPU.

I hope we don't have to wait for long.

I really like what Asus has going in light of the release of the new Intel Centrino platform. Even better is that they are continuing to offer notebooks in black.

I can't wait for the release of the W3N in the US.

I got an email from one of the biggest computer vendors in Canada today regarding the upcoming notebooks in 2005. In the email, Asus will announce some new notebooks, including 14" Wide Screen one which I believe it is W3N, in Februry. Since all Canadian Asus products are directly shipped from CA, Asus USA, for sure, will have it released as well.

Any word on whether the W5 is coming to Canada? That thing looks sweet too...
although if it doesn't come, I'm grabbing the W3N for sure!

A comprehensive review of the new Sonoma Asus V6V...

    http://www.tomshardware.com/mobile/20050119/sonoma_alviso-11.html

The battery life is not as good as the PIC-X draws more power from the battery and the performance gain from Radeon 9600 -> X600 isn't that big.

But... Darn.. it looks nice :)

whoh! that M6A looks really nice! I haven't seen a M6 up close, but that pic of the M6A looks a lot like my M3 -- which as i recal looks a lot better than the m6n, but maybe i'm wrong since, as i mentioned, i haven't seen the m6n up close.

The latest Asus catalog has the details of W5N. I am sure it will be released very soon.
