    According to the girl at bestbuy (who surprised me, she actually knew alot about computers, and was into gaming, and was... good looking :p)
    They are putting out new Asus laptops tomorrow, so any current ones will be on the cheap!
    Also, she diddn't actually know what they were, because they are not allowed to open the big crate/box thing, till they stock them. BUT, newegg also appears to be ridding themselves of many/certain laptops, meaning that they might be getting some new ones too!

    The new one she is talking about is just the G50vt-X5. My local store has 3 in stock. The older G50vt-X1 has been deleted from BBY warehouses and when they are gone, they be gone.

    she made it sound like multiple laptops, maybe she meant other than asus though....
    man, i was getting my hopes up!

    lol i just said in the other thread that it is probably the X5 who knows? Maybe a version of the W90 is dropping? :D i wish :)

    Hi. This is my first post here in this forum. I got the Asus X83Vm-X2 the other day from Best Buy. So far, so good. Only thing that I don't like right now is the battery life (2.5 hours) and it has no backup partition in the HD.

    I heard that this laptop is the retail version of the n80? If that's the case, is there a better battery for this laptop? Thanks.
