    New Bios Introduces Even more Downclocking (G1S)

    Well, I updated bios from 203 to 204. Now, CPUZ shows my clocks going from 800 mhz to 2195mhz.

    I think my bios is 203, I didn't upgrade anything and my cpu can clock from 800mhz to 2200mhz. I believe nothing was changed for the cpu in the 204 bios.

    With 203, I my cpu never got down to 800mhz. Started happening with 204 for me.

    every G1S bios does that. I'm 100% sure. You just had to use cpu-z 1.40.5 to see the 800mhz

    Yes, I noticed a slight performance decrease when running the Super PI tests on the new BIOS. I had figured that that just might be the normal variation one would expect between tests. Anyways... if Ken says they are working on it, I trust him. It seems Asus likes to take their sweet time, but at least they know of the problem.
