    Just got a report back from a customer who tried it. If you had problems recovering from standby on w3j or other there is a new bios. Not sure about other but the w3j problem is fixed...i think
    www.asus.com --> support ---> downloads ----> bios tab

    Thanks for the quick update, Eddie. I'll try it out this weekend when I get a chance.

    Are you referring to the Bios version 207 dated June 9? What is it with its description that is supports T2700?

    Hi there,
    I do not know about which one u talk but on asus web site i found v210 ( previously I got v206 ).
    I decide to update, I do everythink as they write there. I restart my laptop and realise there is some problem with lan card. So I decide to get back to ( why not, everything was fine ) v206 but this software didnt allowed me to do this so I go to bios and there is an option to update ( hmm, in this case to outdate ) ....what a silly mam I am :-(
    Than some info apear and it shut down ( I do not know what it was, when I realise there is some information it shut down and my notebook has restarted....
    Now I can see sh** I pres on/off button and I can hear that fan is working, hdd led flash few times and nothing....black screen.
    Got someone any clue what/how repare without sending to asus? ( I call them and they say it gonna cost me about 150 pounds :-( )

    End of the story... asus laptops havent got so nice option to repare bios by user ( as desktop motherboard does ).

    now, question: what/how can I do now ?
    HELP !!!

    Seems to me a bios update gone bad. The ASUS tool should have prevented you from causing any damage to the bios.

    Maybe removing and reinserting the CMOS battery will reset the bios settings?

    Btw, if there was a problem with the LAN card, you should have checked the ASUS website for an updated LAN driver.

    Yes, I am sure update go wrong.

    About battery you can have right but to take off cmos battery I have to open notebook. If I do so, I may lose guaranty, am I right?

    Lan... you are right. But now it's too late :-/
