    I may be the odd man out. While I do enjoy having a powerful GPU in my laptop. The latest trend of going to a large chassis 15.4"/15.6" laptop that weight over 7lbs is kinda putting it out of my maximum day to day carry range. I hope Asus will have something in the size/weight range of a M50 series with improved GPU as that's the largest I'm willing to go. Otherwise it look like I would rather go with the new 14" with the ATI HD4860.

    There's no 14" K series with an HD4770...is there? o_O

    I only recall the K51 having a "big" GPU and that's the HD4860.

    Also, if portability and performance are your key you might need to look at other stuff like say the N81 or whatnot.

    Oops, got it confused as some post said the performance of the 4860 is comparable to the 4770/ Thanks. Yea, it looks more and more like either the K51 or N81 for me. I hope the N81 will get the 4860 as I don't really want a AMD in my laptop ;-)

    I know it's over and I did read some of the new model thread. just wondering if some less popular model may have gotten left out or something was mentioned to come later but not shown.
