This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have just noticed that Asus was reissued all the drivers and utilities for the W3 (=W3000) series on 19th September 2005.

    Some of the new packages seem to have old contents although the total file size has changed (different zip software?), but others have some contents newer than the previous software issues.

    Note that not everything is listed under "latest", perhaps because there are too many new versions. Be warned that the BT package is 180MB!

    Perhaps it is coincidence, but my W3 came out of hibernation much faster this morning after installing the new LAN driver yesterday.

    I wish they would include a version list to see what exactly has changed from the previous version, but this is good information. Thanks for the heads-up!
