This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My local Staples is almost out of stock and isn't ordering more.
    Is there a new one coming?

    There will always be a new EeePC coming out every few months or so. Even if the 1000 is out of stock at your local Staples, I'm sure other online venders and auction sites will still have plenty to go around.
