So, as with many apparently, GTA4 is having fun with my frame rates on my g50v-a2. So i went online, and there's some new drivers out specifically catering to this issue (180.84). Downloaded them, and then tried to install them, as i worried, they aren't compatible ... yadda yadda. I remember readin how many desktop card drivers arent compatible with the Mobile versions present in laptops, so just wondering where i can find this driver for lappy.

    note: I'm running a 9700m gt

Update- sorry, just checkin round the forums and found some a laptopvideo2go, but the 9700's arent listed will it still work, or are there other options?

    http://laptopvideo2go.com/drivers

click one of the first 4 links there (Under the drivers 180.84), depending on what version of windows you are running, ALSO you have to download the "Modded INF" file, and after you extract the drivers you need to move the new INF file in to the driver files, (replacing the INF file that is in there).

Than you should be good to go.
