I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about a V2Je? It's now listed on the ASUS support website so I presume it's in development. There's not much there other than a wireless driver, but given that it's already listed I wouldn't be surprised if it's within 3 months of launch.

On a separate note, the G1 and G2 series manuals are already online, which means they may well be targetted for a December Christmas launch. I can't really read the languages that are available but that circular thing appears to be some type of touchpad indicator light and the G2P appears to have a built-in TV tuner which would mean there is some overlap with the W2Jp.

Well, I know about it....... the V1's docking station clearly states it's the "v1 and v2 docking station"...... so, they're similiar notbooks.. I'm to understand the V2 us a V6 "thin" notebook, in a W3 "14 inch" size... I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certainly about this one..... but for those that think they know Asus' naming conventions... I'll guarentee you it's not a 17"~!

I wonder if that makes that means that the V2Je will be a widescreen 14" like the W3J and V1J or a non-widescreen like the V6J? Perhaps the V2Je will be the launch platform for the X1450 since I haven't heard of any products using it before and if the V2Je is closer to the V6J than the V1J, a X1450 seems appropriate. Hopefully, it'll include a webcam, fingerprint reader, hard drive sensor, spill-proof keyboard (both on the F2 series I believe), and all those other little details that a high-end professional labtop should have.
